Tips for helping your child stay dry at night

1. It's important to make sure your child is drinking lots of water throughout the day, but try and reduce the amount they drink a couple of hours before bedtime.
2. Make a trip to the bathroom with them before they go to bed.
3. If your child makes it through the night, celebrate their achievement. Tell them how proud you are. If they don’t make it through – don’t berate them about it and say encouraging things like, "That's ok...maybe tonight we'll make it through." Let them know you're on their side and they are part of a team trying to get through this challenge together.
